How do I set up the email address to which messages from a system.io contact form will be sent?
Have you added a contact form to a system.io page, such as your contact page? But the problem is that when visitors leave you a message, it appears in your personal email inbox or in a messaging system that you don't want.
In this article, you will learn how to ensure that messages are sent to a specific email address.
"It is impossible to configure the email address for receiving messages from the system.io contact form!"

Introduction to system.io and the contact form feature
Hello, I hope you're doing well?^^
Let's start with a brief explanation right away.
As you may know, systeme.io helps you launch your online business quickly and easily, even if you don't know how to code. Systeme.io is a "no-code" tool, meaning you don't need to be a web developer to do amazing things with it.
With a free account, you can already do all your business on the internet, you don't even need to pay...
Only if you need more power will you have to pay a little extra, but it's really not much compared to system.io's competitors.
For example, ClickFunnels would cost you three times as much...
And don't forget that you can also get lots of discounts on sio such as 40% off if you're just starting out!
The system.io contact form
In this article, I'm going to talk to you about this contact form. I prefer to show you a photo of it so that you don't confuse it with the contact fields in email capture forms. Because it's true that they look similar and it can be confusing sometimes when you're a beginner (I don't know what level you're at on Sio).
On any page of system.io, you can add modules, and here I'm going to tell you about the "Contact Us" module.

How do I set the email address to which messages from the contact form will be sent?
Once you have added the "contact us" module to the page where you want it. People usually put this module on their blog's contact page. It's handy for visitors to send you a message.
You can easily customize it with the editor and all the settings...
You can add the option for visitors to attach files, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it. Because people with malicious intent could send you an attachment containing a virus...
It is better to exchange an initial email and see if the visitor's request is reasonable, and then perhaps ask for attachments such as screenshots.
You can also add Google's "recaptcha" feature. Personally, I don't need it at the moment, but it can be useful if you're getting too many attacks from bots.
In short, you're probably wondering what email address the messages written by your visitors in the system.io contact form will be sent to?
I will answer you in the next paragraph...
Yes, sorry, but I have to pad it out a bit for Google because an article with very few words won't rank well otherwise haha^^

My tips for receiving messages entered in the contact form module
The best advice I can give you about the system.io contact form is to use your personal email address to create your sio account and forward messages to your work address.
Use a professional email address
If you create your systeme.io account with a professional email address, messages entered in the systeme io contact form will be sent to your professional email address by default.
But what would happen if you lost your domain name and associated professional email address?
You will no longer have access to your system.io account!
Okay, it's rare, but it can happen...
Use a personal email address
If you create your systeme.io account with your personal email address, messages entered by your visitors in the systeme.io contact form will be sent to your personal address by default.
In general, that's not what we want...
To resolve this issue, you can simply create a rule in your personal email account to forward emails with the subject line "Contact request" to your work email address.
I know that neither the first option nor the second option are great. But we have to find solutions while we wait for Sio to offer us the option of choosing the email address where messages should be sent for this contact form.
Conclusion
The best solution I have found so far is therefore:
1 – Create a system.io account with a personal email address
2 – Create a rule on this personal address so that emails with the subject line "Contact request" are forwarded to my work email address.
Don't worry, it takes no more than an hour.
Because you'll probably have to fiddle around a bit if you don't know how to set up a rule in your personal email account.
If you know how to create a rule in your email account, it will take you five minutes max.
I'm not telling you how to add this famous rule because I don't know which email account you use... Just type "Create a rule with Gmail" into Google to find tutorials. ^^

Hello, this article dates from 2023 and remains without comments, but I hope that contact remains active... since that is the subject here.
Before getting to the email address forwarding or redirection section of this form, I first need to find it so I can add it to the "contact" page of my blog!
That's where the problem lies: in the editor for my pages or blog posts, I don't have that famous "contact" or "contact form" element, let alone "contact us."
I only have the "form field" option, which is more suited to a lead magnet or funnel page.
However, I do have this element in a new page created on a tunnel.
So first I need to create and configure my form on a dedicated page in a funnel, then copy the script and integrate it into my blog's "contact" page.
While this is feasible, it is impractical and unfortunate to dedicate a specific page of a tunnel for this purpose.
What could be the solution for obtaining this element in the editor of a blog page?
Thank you in advance.
Hello Alain,
Unfortunately, there isn't really a solution. Just as you said, a form in a sales funnel, then take the script and put it in.
